By: Armas, Armando, Jr.

Becuase of the inavailability of requisite data on Dolefil and, more so, the rather late entry of Dolefil into the industry (its commercial operation started only in 1967), the study focuses on Philpack. Section 1 analyzes the influence of MWL on Philpack's wage rates. Section 2 computes MWL effects on Philpack's payroll. Lastly, Section 3 estimates the impact of MWL on Philpack's total costs and rate of return, and attempts to establish whether MWL could provide the pressure to affect Philpack's endogenous factors
